About Insurance

Yes. In December 2024, Harty Insurance (Jamestown) and Dakota Insurance Agency (Wishek) came together under one name, Uinsurance, as part of the Unison Bank family.

No. You continue working with the same people you always have; only the agency name changed.

[Confirm this remains accurate — see client question. Drawn from the original rebrand announcement, not a new statement: "No. Your policy, coverage, and premiums are not affected by the name change."]

An independent agency is not tied to a single insurance company. We work with numerous carriers, which means we can compare options and find coverage that actually fits your situation instead of offering only one company's products.

Getting A Quote & Coverage

After submitting a quote request, our team reviews it and responds within 2 to 3 business days.

We currently serve Jamestown and Wishek, ND, and the surrounding areas. We do not currently have an Arizona location.

Auto, home, farm, business, health, life, and pet insurance, among other coverages. See our full Products page for details.

[Confirm with the insurance team — see client question. Do we offer discounts for bundling multiple policies (e.g., home and auto), and what do typical savings look like?]

Claims (High Risk — Requires Insurance Team Review)

[Content pending — see client question, hard requirement before launch. No old-site content confirms Unison/Uinsurance's specific claims process. Since claims typically go through the carrier rather than the agency, we need to confirm: does a customer contact Uinsurance first, or the carrier directly? Should this page list carrier claims contact info, or point to Carrier Contact?]

[Content pending — see client question, hard requirement before launch. This section must not be published without confirmed, accurate steps from the insurance team; getting this wrong or vague could genuinely hurt a customer in a stressful moment.]
